ABOUT MY TEAM

My name is Gabriela Fatscher and I'm from Long Island, New York. I am currently enrolled as a freshman here at HPU.. I am an Exercise Science major with a minor in Spanish. I hope to one day become an Occupational Therapist and focus on assisting  people with their mental differences. I will own my own practice. I chose High Point University because this is the type of environment I need to succeed. The small class sizes are perfect and I always feel inspired to do my best. I live in Wanek on the fourth floor. I am not joining a sorority, but I plan on joining the intramural soccer team, I grew up playing soccer. If I could obtain a super power it would be invisibility and my favorite food is steak.

Derek Lucas is a freshman at HPU from Worcester Massachusetts. He is majoring in business administration because he would love to work on Wall Street one day. He chose High Point because he visited the campus and then fell in love resulting in him applying early decision. He lives on campus in Wanek on the third floor. If. he was able to have a superpower he would choose the ability to fly so then he could travel to any place in the world. His favorite food is the spicy chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A. 

Danielle Glendenning is a freshman at HPU and she is from Downingtown Pennsylvania. She is majoring in event management with a minor in sales. She dreams to become a CEO of a private equity company or even work in medical sales. She chose HPU because she loves the campus and one of the few schools that she was looking into that offers her major. She lives on the third floor of Wanek. She plans on being in a sorority and joining the intramural tennis team. Danielle would chose the power of invisibility as well and she really loves tacos, cake, and pizza.

Rebecca Finch is a freshman at HPU from Durham North Carolina. She is majoring in event management with a possible minor in strategic communication. Her dream job is to plan music festivals. Rebecca chose HPU because she wanted to stay close to home and it was one of the only schools with her major. She lives in U.C.2 on the fourth floor. She wants to join the republican club on campus. In high school, Rebecca was a competitive swimmer. If she could have any superpower it would be invisibility, and her favorite food is the chips and queso from Moe's.

Rya Hooks is a freshman at HPU from Atlanta Georgia. She is majoring in psychology with a minor in Spanish. She wants to be a clinical psychologist in a Children's Hospital and speak fluent Spanish. Rya came to HPU because she loved campus and applied early decision. She is living in U.C.2. on the second floor. She used to play soccer when she was younger, but now would like to join a sorority. If Rya could have a superpower it would be telepathy.  She loves tacos.
